Delete your account

You can delete your account yourself in the Fami app: open the "Settings" tab, tap "Delete account" and confirm. The account is deleted immediately.

If you are the only administrator of your community, you must name another administrator first.

You can also request deletion by email. Follow these steps:

1. Send an email to info@famiapp.online.
2. Send it from the same email address your account is registered with. This lets us confirm the request is yours.
3. Use the subject line: Eliminar cuenta

If you write from an address other than the registered one, we cannot verify your identity and will ask you to repeat the request from the correct account.

When your account is deleted, we delete:

• Your name.
• Your email address.
• Your phone number.
• Your profile photo.
• Your community membership, visitor passes, reservations and survey votes.

After deletion you will no longer be able to sign in, and you will stop receiving community notices.

The community keeps certain records for administrative and legal reasons, even once your account no longer exists:

• Payment receipts and the fee history of your home.
• Incident reports. They are kept with no link to your account.
• Payment receipts not yet reviewed are marked as rejected, with the note "Cuenta eliminada por el usuario" (account deleted by the user).

These records are part of the community's accounting and security history, which the administration must be able to account for to the other residents and to the authorities. Where possible they are dissociated from your identity so they cannot be linked back to you.

The retention period for these records is 5 years. They are deleted once that period ends.

If you delete your account in the app, it is deleted immediately. If you request it by email, we process it within 30 calendar days and confirm by email when it is complete.
